Good dental hygiene is important throughout your life, but especially during orthodontic treatment. Oral hygiene instructions will be given to you when your braces are put on and throughout your treatment.

It is critical to continue seeing your general dentist for preventative visits. No surgical procedures or restorative dentistry will be performed by Dr. Breece. We will refer you to an oral surgeon or your dentist to complete those procedures.

Through orthodontic treatment, potential dental problems may be eliminated, including the problem of abnormal wear of teeth. Treatment can facilitate good oral hygiene and can minimize decay and future periodontal problems.
